She’s released critically acclaimed albums, sell-out clothing ranges and makeup collections (check out our story here), made a blockbuster movie and directed her own music videos. So it’s of no great surprise (only that it wasn’t done sooner) that Rihanna is taking part in “Unfiltered”, a documentary about her life. Detailing the Bajan singer’s life from the beginning it will tell the story of  “how she’s ascended to become a global icon”.

The documentary is going to be made by her pal Peter Berg, who RiRi previously worked with when he directed her in the 2012 film Battleship. He recently told Deadline that the film will be “much more a character study than a music film” and will help viewers see a new side to Fenty. The Film 45 website also released the following statement: “Follow this true international superstar as she navigates life as an artist, businesswoman, and humanitarian, while contending with the inherent pressure of artistic freedom…”

That all sounds great, but what we really want to know is all the important stuff like, will there be new stories on Chris Brown? What about the lowdown on her famous friendship with Cara Delevingne? Does she really have a feud going on with Beyonce? The list of possibilities is endless! As for when we’ll get to see the documentary, Film 45 have said it’s “coming soon”. We *literally* can’t wait.
