Kiya Cosmetics lands in Urban Outfitters
Black-owned natural beauty brand Kiya Cosmetics is heading to the high street with the help of this major retailer.
Kiya Cosmetics has announced that Urban Outfitters, the high street and online lifestyle retailer that has over 28 stores in the UK, will be stocking their range of handmade vegan-friendly skin and hair care products.
Kiya Cosmetics, who have previously had major success with their Curls and Cocktails event, is one of the first beauty brands listed on Urban Outfitters to be created locally in South London and made exclusively by hand.
Rooted in the ethos that beauty comes from clean, simple ingredients, Kiya Cosmetics offers high performing products with visible results that uses a combination of scientifically proven ingredients derived from the planet.
Kay Amoah, founder of Kiya Cosmetics says of the partnership: 'It’s a really exciting time for Kiya Cosmetics, even with the difficulties surrounding Covid-19. There is a huge gap in the market for a brand like ours in the mainstream, that is fresh, new, natural and that also caters heavily to women of colour.'
