Back in vogue: Curly fringes
This retro hairstyle is making a serious comeback, whether faux or for real. We look at who's wearing it now, and how to copy the look.
“As far as I’m concerned, there aren’t enough curly fringes in the world," says Stefan Bertin, celebrity hairdresser. "With celebrities adopting the look and going for a 70s vibe, here’s how you can make it work for you."
"If your hair is curly rather than tightly coiled, go for layers to encourage movement and volume. For tighter kinks, extend your coils so the fringe drops."
This formula minimises natural shrinkage and temporarily reveals a longer 'fro or curly-coily style. It leaves locks feeling soft and silky and is ideal for 3-4c hair types.
